Diaspora channels and partisan pages insist that Balochistan was a free and sovereign nation that declared independence on that date in 1947. The claim is repeated with confidence. The historical record does not support it.

Pakistan stands firm against every attempt to distort facts and shield terrorism under the false banner of human rights. On 28 July 2026, the Human Rights Commission of Balochistan (HRCB) released a fabricated report claiming 63 forced disappearances and 77 killings in Balochistan during June. It placed the entire blame on the Frontier Corps and state institutions. This report is not a genuine human rights document. It is a deliberate tool in the narrative warfare of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). It advances enemy propaganda through false statistics and invented stories.

At a recent United Nations Security Council meeting on threats to international peace and security caused by terrorist acts, China called for the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and its Majeed Brigade to be designated under the UN sanctions regime. Beijing also condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pakistan, called for stronger international support for Pakistan’s counterterrorism efforts, and warned that terrorist groups operating from Afghan territory continue to pose a serious regional threat.
History records few moments with such clarity and documentary strength that propaganda becomes irrelevant. The accession of the State of Kalat to Pakistan is one of those moments. It was not an accident of circumstance, nor the result of pressure or ambiguity. It was a deliberate, constitutional, and publicly recorded decision taken by the rightful ruler of Kalat in the full light of the political realities of 1948.
