Pakistan stands firm against every attempt to distort facts and shield terrorism under the false banner of human rights. On 28 July 2026, the Human Rights Commission of Balochistan (HRCB) released a fabricated report claiming 63 forced disappearances and 77 killings in Balochistan during June. It placed the entire blame on the Frontier Corps and state institutions. This report is not a genuine human rights document. It is a deliberate tool in the narrative warfare of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). It advances enemy propaganda through false statistics and invented stories.
Several names listed in the report, including Obaidullah -son of Muhammad Yaqoob and Qambar Hamza, have no existence on the ground. They are entirely fictitious. The specific cases presented further expose the propaganda.
The Mosiani family incident was deliberately exaggerated. The operation followed an armed clash. According to official records, Mir Khalil was injured by gunfire during the action. He was shifted for medical treatment and later succumbed to his wounds. Sardar Nasir and other individuals were released and sent home after completion of legal procedures. This fact alone dismantles the false narrative of enforced disappearance.
The claim regarding Muhammad Rahim’s detention was equally misleading. HRCB’s own subsequent reports confirm that he returned to his home on 21 July 2026. Treating a preliminary security interrogation as a forced disappearance reveals clear intent of propaganda. State actions against facilitators and suspected aides of terrorists remain fully within the framework of law and are essential for national security.
These manufactured stories emerged at a time when terrorists launched continuous attacks across several districts of Balochistan in June 2026 to disrupt peace. Security forces responded with decisive operations. After the suicide attack on a train in Quetta in late May, operations in Mastung, Nushki, Zehri, Khuzdar and Kech eliminated 17 terrorists. In Panjgur, six Indian-backed terrorists were killed. In Basima, one soldier was martyred while 14 terrorists were eliminated. On 25 and 26 June, operations in Kharan and Mastung killed eight BLA terrorists. Modern weapons and explosives were recovered from their possession. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) officially confirmed these actions. These clearance operations took place precisely in the areas where HRCB attempts to reclassify terrorist deaths as civilian killings.
The report contains no forensic details, no verified court records, and draws no distinction between terrorists and ordinary citizens. Pakistan conducts all affairs within the bounds of the Constitution and the law. Military authorities have consistently noted that certain so-called rights organisations inflate figures by listing killed terrorists and self-declared absconders as missing persons. The complete silence on attacks against Frontier Corps posts and convoys proves that HRCB actively strengthens BLA propaganda.

By fabricating names, misrepresenting resolved cases, and staying silent on BLA attacks against security forces and civilians alike, the report functions less as independent monitoring and more as an extension of the BLA’s propaganda apparatus. Pakistan’s security forces operate within constitutional and legal bounds to counter a real and ongoing terrorist threat, and no manufactured statistics can substitute for verified fact. The state’s resolve to dismantle terrorist infrastructure in Balochistan, and its commitment to truth over propaganda, will not be shaken by these propaganda reports.
